Celebrating a Milestone: Over 10,000 Pairs of Rotary Red Socks Sold Worldwide!
We are thrilled to announce that Rotary Red Socks has reached a significant milestone: we have sold over 10,000 pairs of red socks around the world! This achievement is a testament to the power of community and the importance of our mission to raise awareness about prostate cancer.
The Rotary Red Socks initiative began in 2014, founded by the Rotary Club of Sunrise Townsville in memory of their long-time member Dennis Denmead PHF, who sadly passed away from an aggressive prostate cancer illness. Dennis’s legacy lives on through our efforts, and we are more motivated than ever to spread the Red Socks message globally.
Each pair of red socks sold not only honors Dennis’s memory but also serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection and proactive health measures. Our community’s support has been overwhelming, and together, we are making a real difference.
As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to join us in our mission. Whether you’re looking to raise awareness in your local community or want to support a global cause, we can help you get your own Rotary Red Socks project started. Contact us today to learn how you can be a part of this meaningful movement. Together, we can continue to make strides in the fight against prostate cancer.
